The Retreat Vacation Rental

Accommodation Overview

You’ve found your waterfront oasis tucked under the White Birds of Paradise! This spacious retreat was formerly a commercial art gallery. Two queen beds, one full bathroom & kitchenette make for comfortable living! You have a fenced path leading you down to the beautiful waters of Salt Run where a rooftop deck invites morning coffee, afternoon sunbathing and evening relaxation. Less than a mile to downtown St. Augustine, a little over a mile to the Amphitheater and about 3 miles to the beach.

Downstairs you have a combined living space with a queen bed, L-shaped couch and kitchenette. The kitchenette has appliances for cooking smaller meals, a full-sized (awesome) fridge, coffee pot, toaster, kettle, and microwave.

Upstairs you have an A-frame hideaway! A comfortable queen bed, 2 office desks for remote working and a bookshelf stocked with books and games for those (rare) rainy days. A dedicated, separate entrance to the upstairs bedroom makes it convenient for two couples.

You have a fenced path leading you down to the beautiful waters of Salt Run. Make your way up to the rooftop deck for some sunshine and incredible views while catching that awesome ocean breeze.

Time for a swim? In front of the waterside rooftop deck you’ll find a large 15’x30′ salt water swimming pool. The pool has a large shallow depth ledge perfect for relaxing or enjoying a book. There is a pool bathroom with toilet & sink for your convenience. The pool is heated during the winter months. Temperature is kept at around 82 degrees.

Only a few blocks away, you have a full-service marina with lots of fishing charters and boat tour options.

Perfectly situated on a dead-end street just off the main boulevard. You are less than a mile to downtown St. Augustine, just a little over a mile to the Amphitheater and about 3 miles to St. Augustine Beach. Additional nearby attractions include the Alligator Farm, St. Augustine Lighthouse, and Conch House Marina all within biking distance or a very short drive.

Parking is not an issue with two dedicated off-street parking spaces and fast wifi makes it easy to stay connected.

My family and I stay at AirBnB's. That's what we do. We love to be in a home away from home. I can honestly say we haven't stayed anywhere that felt so loved. All the sweet little touches you can tell where placed with love. Lovely scented candles, the softest towels EVER, the St Augustine art work, the lights that travelled down the sidewalk to the roof top deck..... we can tell how much you truly love this place. Thank you for sharing it with us.
